A fantastic opportunity for a senior, lead Java developer has come up with a very well respected SME Consultancy who operate predominantly within the Investment Banking arena. You will be responsible for leading a team and developing enterprise level software solutions as well as smaller iterative development projects. The role is based in London, working with a very impressive list of clients and is paying between £65,000 - £85,000 plus benefits.
Experience of Trading Platforms is a big advantage although not essential, as is working on high transaction systems, such as a betting platform. Also, experience of working with various development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall is important.

You should preferably have over 5 years of working with the Java / J2EE framework. Databases are typically Oracle and SQL Server and the Middleware, TIBCO, MQ Series etc.

The projects you will be involved in are typically large enterprise systems, large risk management systems but you must also be prepared to work on smaller development based projects, the low - mid level projects.
